Chennai, Jan 5: Chennai Mayor M K Stalin visited the MGR Nagar slum tenement area in Vyasarpadi which was affected by fire and oversaw the relief work. K Sundaram, Diary Development Minister asked Slum Clearance Board to take necessary measures to build 1,000 pucca houses with asbestos roof for the rehabilitation of the slum-dwellers whose huts were destroyed in the fire.
