Ex-PM A.B. Vajpayee on Saturday dropped enough hints of mid-term polls in the state. ‘‘UP main chunav September ya October mein ho sakte hain. Aap tayyar rahen aur kam karen (UP may see elections in September or October. You must be prepared),’’ he said. In an honest admission of the reasons for his party’s defeat in the LS polls, he also said: ‘‘The recent polls were individualistic and did not take into account problems of the people. We should focus on the real issues. The issues in the recent polls changed from state to state while one issue should be common to win polls.’’
