CHENNAI, SEPT 2: An Independent candidate contesting the Madras South Lok Sabha seat was chased away by a mob, said to be supporters of the ruling DMK on Thursday, when he canvassed in his constituency.
The candidate, Mohan Raj, son of freedom fighter and former MLA, Nellai Jebamani, was seeking votes in Kotturpuram along with his father when the hostile mob confronted them.
