Union Minister for Steel Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday said his Lok Jan Shakti Party would go it alone in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Paswan, while addressing a public rally here, lashed out at his political opponents and did not even spare his allies in the UPA coalition at the Centre.“People are playing politics in the name of religion, caste and other parochial issues, but LJP is fighting for the welfare of poor and will continue to do so,” he said.

Paswan, whose party had a seat sharing agreement with the Congress for the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand in 2004, said that LJP will not tie up with any party in the upcoming Assembly and parliamentary polls.

Taking a dig at the current Madhu Koda-led government in Jharkhand, he said the present state Government had completely failed in delivering goods.
