“The bomb squad was called in as soon as we got the information of a live bomb in the area. The squad has successfully diffused the bomb,” police inspector P R Gehalot told PTI.

The bomb was found this morning lying in a garbage can near Hatkeshwar in the Amraiwadi area, just 15 hours after a series of blasts rocked the city of Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Thirty-eight people have been killed, while 162 were injured in the 16 blasts that ripped across the city, sending panic waves among the citizens.
