Leyland Feb sales up 23 %

Ashok Leyland today said that its sales grew by 23 per cent to 4,906 units in February 2004 over 3,988 units in the same month last year. Cumulative (April-February 2003-04) sales surged by 36.1 per cent to 42,409 units against 31,152 units in the year-ago period.

Domestic sales were4,261 units in February 2004against 3,721 units in the same month last year while exports climbed 646 units over 267 units in February 2003.— (PTI)
