NEW DELHI, Aug 14: Pandit Jasraj, Kishori Amonkar, Birju Maharaj and several other leading artistes will sing and dance their way into the hearts of Delhiites on the night of August 15/16.

“The all night festival of music and dance being organised by the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, which is also celebrating its golden jubilee, would be our humble tribute to the nation on this great occasion,” Kendra director, Shobha Deepak Singh, told reporters here.

In doing so, she said, the Kendra would be recreating the magic of the night 50 years ago when it celebrated the advent of Independence with an all-night concert featuring stalwarts like Guru Shambhu Maharaj.
