LONDON, SEPTEMBER 24: Graeme Le Saux showed his leadership qualities in a rousing display for strugglers Chelsea in their thrilling 3-3 draw against table-toppers Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.Chelsea captain Dennis Wise was ruled out of the game through illness and so Le Saux took over the skipper's armband. The defender's most tellling contribution came when he refused to give up a seemingly lost cause to clear Andy Cole's shot off the line in the second half when United led 3-2.He also gave England coach Kevin Keegan a timely reminder of his attacking ability on the left with a hand in all three Chelsea goals.Le Saux, whose heroic display was rewarded with the man-of-the-match award, was jubilant after he helped Chelsea earn a point to launch Claudio Ranieri's reign as the Blues boss.``If you saw me afterwards I was a bit elated,'' beamed Le Saux. ``If they had scored that, it might have all been over. I was just fortunate that I managed to read what Andy Cole was doing and got my foot to it."I'm firing on all cylinders at the moment. I've had three games after a long injury and I feel I'm getting fitter every day really.``We showed great character today. We were a bit shocked at being 3-1 down, and I don't think we deserved to be after playing some good football.``We just got caught as Manchester United break so quickly but I think overall we at least deserved a draw.''Norwegian international Tore Andre Flo scored twice for Ranieri's side to earn a point a diving header just before half time and then a close-range effort after United had gone 3-1 up.Dutchman Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink gave Chelsea an early lead with an unstoppable drive only for United to hit back through Paul Scholes with an equally devastating strike.Teddy Sheringham and David Beckham put United in control before Flo's goals brought Chelsea back into the game.Despite Chelsea's woeful start to the current campaign they have an impressive record at Old Trafford with just one defeat there in their last 26 league games.Arsenal stayed third, a late Dennis Bergkamp goal salvaging a point after Marcus Stewart had given Premiership newcomers Ipswich the lead four minutes after the interval.Liverpool remain fourth on goal difference after a 1-1 draw at home to Sunderland. The battle of the England strikers produced two cracking goals for Kevin Phillips and Michael Owen in the first half at Anfield.Phillips scored with a fine 25-yarder after just 14 minutes to silence the home crowd. But Owen was not to be outdone and bulleted home a superb header after 33 minutes for the equaliser.
