Delhi Police officers investigating the September 7 bombing of Delhi High Court stumbled upon a car laden with explosives after they were tipped off about a possible terrorist attack at Ambala Cantt railway station.

Special Cell officers who reached Ambala at around 6.30 pm on Wednesday found the Indica car at the parking lot of the station. It had apparently been there at least since the afternoon, being watched over by Haryana Police officers, who had been informed about the tip-off.

The registration number of the car matched the one that the Special Cell had. The officers lay in wait, hoping for someone to show up.
