CHANDIGARH, Nov 24: While two persons were killed in separate accidents, a 25-year-old married woman was hospitalised after she sustained burns today.

A pedestrian, Kirpal, resident of Ram Darbar, was reportedly hit by a four-wheeler bearing a local registration number on the road dividing Sectors 16 and 17. He was taken to the PGI, where he died, police sources said. The police have registered a case.

Neeta, a labourer, fell off a wall in an Industrial Unit in Industrial Area Phase-I, this afternoon. He was admitted to the PGI where he died this evening. The police have begun investigations into the matter, sources said.

Meanwhile, Indu (25), a resident of Dariya village was admitted to the PGI with burns. The cause of the burns is not known yet, police sources added.
