Kumaramangalam undergoes dialysis

NEW DELHI: Union Minister for Power Rangarajan P Kumaramangalam, who is battling for his life at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), underwent a dialysis for renal support on Thursday even as his condition remain critical. A medical bulletin issued by AIIMS said “the condition of Kumaramangalam remains critical and he is being maintained on life-support systems. He is undergoing dialysis for renal support. His blood pressure is still unstable.”

The Minister was visited by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Union Minister for Coal N T Shanmugam and Tamil Maanila Congress President G K Moopanar on Thursday.
