Bangalore, April 15: The Karnataka State Cricket Association is in a dilemma. Their problem is how to field their national stars for the Ranji Trophy final against Madhya Pradesh starting April 19 in the city.

This is the dilemma confronting KSCA. Should they take a chance and play all four and hope the match ends by the fifth afternoon, or take a chance and shore up the present XI with just Sunil Joshi? After all, it is this team that has brought them thus far this season.

Of course, another option is to play just a couple of the stars, say Kumble and Dravid, and fly them out on 23rd afternoon.

Madhya Pradesh too have a similar problem with Amay Khurasia. Some of their team members have already arrived here after the semifinal at Hyderabad. Others are expected over the next couple of days.

The onus is also on the Board of Control for Cricket in India, if the secretary and president of the Board permit the World Cup players to take part in the Ranji Trophy final.

Incidentally, the Karnataka selectors meet tomorrow to finalise the team. Karnataka are the defending champions.
