NEW DELHI, June 2: The largely-attended final of the second Hari Ram Aggarwal day-night tournament at the MCD grounds here on Monday turned out to be an anti-climax. Dharampal Satyapal (D S ) Group were declared winners of the when their opponents Krishi Exports (Varanasi) staged a walkout after 18.3 overs protesting against `the bowling action' of Pankaj Thakur. Chasing D S Group's 259 for seven, the Varanasi team was 132 for four with skipper Sumeet Dogra (73) and Rizwan Shamshad (36) batting when they quit the field in protest even as chief guest of the evening, Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma and Kirti Azad were present at the MCD grounds.Invited to bat first, D S Group owed their big total to the 146-run opening wicket stand between Balwinder Singh (66) and Pankaj Thakur (69).
