ISLAMABAD, JULY 25: King Hassan II of Morocco, who died aged 70 on Friday, had advised Pakistan not to get sucked into a war with India over Kashmir, a Pakistani minister has said.Abdul Majeed Malik, Minister for `Kashmir affairs', met the king when he visited Morocco as a special envoy recently after tension broke out between India and Pakistan over the Pakistan-backed intrusion in Kargil.Malik told mediapersons yesterday the late king told him many countries would like to see Pakistan involved in a war from which it would be difficult to extricate itself. The monarch stressed that ``whatever happens, don't get sucked into a war,'' the minister said.RABAT: World leaders meanwhile joined Morocco's masses to bid a last farewell to the king after a night of public mourning on the streets of the Moroccan capital for the West Asia peacemaker. More than a score of kings, presidents and prime ministers were attended the funeral.They include United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, US President BillClinton, French President Jacques Chirac, Britan's Prince Charles and Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, Israeli President Ezer Weizman and Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Jordan's King Abdullah, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
