Kharab to lead team in 4-nation meet

Railways player Mamta Kharab will lead the Indian team for the 4-nation Lal Bahadur Shastri women’s hockey tournament slated to begin at the Shivaji Stadium from December 1. The five-day meet will see teams like Italy, Malaysia and Uzbekistan battle it out for the coveted prize.

The team’s drag flicker and striker, Jajseet Kaur will however miss out on the tournament due to injury. GS Bhangu has been named as the coach and goal-keeping coach AB Subbaiah returns to national duty.
