Kabir Khan to return with film ‘New York’ in ’09

'New York' is a modern story of friendship set against the backdrop of a city described as centre of the world.

Director Kabir Khan, who made his debut with critically acclaimed film “Kabul Express”, is all set to release his next film “New York” in 2009.

“New York” is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world.

The story of the film centres around three young friends, whose beautiful lives are turned upside down by larger events beyond their control, a Yash Raj Films release said.

The film has John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan in lead roles. Music of the film has been composed by Pritam. The film will also be the first Yash Raj release of 2009.

The trailer of “New York” will be unveiled with Shah Rukh Khan starrer film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” on 12th December.
