The CEO in Chhattisgarh is conducting an inquiry into how Naveen Jindal, a Raigarh industrialist contesting the Lok Sabha elections in Kuruskhetra, continued to be a voter in Chhattisgarh too, till April 22, 2002.
Jindal, a Congress candidate, owns a steel and power unit in Chhattisgarh, and his name is listed against serial number 123 on the voters’ list — a certified copy of which, forms part of the complaint filed against him by one Jayant Bahidar of Raigarh. Ex-BJP MP Chander Shekhar Sahu, accompanied by Bahidar, filed the complaint against Jindal on Saturday.
