Jharkhand CM’s domicile meet not so ‘all-party’

None of the 24-odd politicians, who participated in the all-party meet convened by Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi here today to discuss the pros and cons of his domicile policy, opposed it.

The meeting was presided over by Marandi and attended by members of the ruling NDA’s constituents besides representatives from BSP, SP, and Jharkhand Vikas Party.

The meet was boycotted by the entire Opposition comprising the JMM, Congress, RJD, CPI, MCC and CPI-ML, who felt there was no point attending as ‘‘the CM has anyway asserted he will not change his stand’’. Marandi just called them all ‘‘cowards’’.
