The Bihar Assembly on Wednesday witnessed an unpleasant incident when some ruling NDA MLAs pushed out suspended JD(U) MLA Chhedi Paswan after he allegedly made certain uncharitable remarks against the Speaker during a heated exchange with a minister. Paswan, from the reserved Mohania seat, was suspended from the party last year. Trouble started during the zero hour when Paswan wanted to know as to why his call attention was not entertained. Speaker Uday Narain Chowdhury told him that his notice could not be taken up immediately as it was allotted number 24. Paswan lost his cool and charged the Speaker of being biased and rushed towards the well of the house. This was strongly protested by Minister for Road Construction Nand Kishore Yadav. As Paswan got engaged in a heated exchange with the minister some ruling NDA MLAs came out and pushed him out of the house amidst noisy protest by the opposition. Paswan sat on a dharna outside the Speaker’s chamber and alleged he was not being allowed to raise issues concerning his constituency.
