NEW DELHI, April 29: The Janata Dal yesterday demanded dismissal of the Rabri Devi government in Bihar on the ground of breakdown of law and order to be followed by dissolution of the Assembly and fresh elections. At a press conference here, JD parliamentary board chairman Ram Vilas Paswan said that Bihar was witnessing "jungle raj" with weaker sections becoming the target of atrocities.He said that he had been on a long tour of parts of the state recently and found utter lawlessness reigning.Asked if his party had changed its stand on the imposition of Article 356, he said ``the Janata Dal is against the Article but it is not in favour of jungle raj.''Paswan denied that there were differences in the party over the demand for dismissal of the Bihar government. He also said that the Left parties were even more aggressive in demanding the same.He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party-Samta Party combine of playing its game on the issue of dismissal of the Rabri government. During the campaign for the LokSabha elections, it promised dismissal of the government but was now going to the extent of giving clean chits to Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav.
