Jagpal wins gold in 800 metre

CHANDIGARH, April 6: Satbir, Dharam Pal and Ram Murthy, won the 100-metre dash in the men’s section in the under-40, 40 to 50 and 50 to 60 years age categories, respectively, in the third physical fitness meet organised by the Haryana Health Department for its employee to celebrate the World Health Day at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here today.

In the women’s section, Aneesh Punia and Uma Sharma emerged winners in the 100-metre in the under-40 and 50 to 60 years age groups, respectively.However, Jagpal Singh bagged first place in the two-lap race in men’s section in the under-40 group.
