New Delhi: Former India skipper Ajay Jadeja today challenged in Delhi High Court the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s decision to ban him for five years from playing for the country as well as a notice from government regarding withdrawl of Arjuna Award. In his over 800-page petition, the cricketer also sought quashing of the CBI report, which had indicted him for his alleged involvement in match-fixing.

5-man team to stay
MUMBAI:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to retain the system of the five-member senior selection committee. The code of conduct committee of the BCCI which met here recently for over eight hours also decided that a limit of 20 years be brought on the selectors so that they are not out of sync with the latest happenings in the game. In effect this means that if a player retires at the age of 35, he cannot be a selector after he reaches the age of 55.
