Marseille, Feb 11: Russian Yevgeny Kafelnikov, the top seed, was hustled out of the $500,000 Marseille Open after being beaten by Croatia’s Ivan Ljubicic 7-6 (5), 6-3. The 20 year-old Ljubicic, from Zagreb, said he liked playing Kafelnikov. “Kafel’s game suits me. I beat him 6-1, 6-2, in our only other meeting in Monte Carlo last year,” Ljubicic said.
