It is Rahul’s own decision, says father

Reacting to the reports that Rahul Dravid was stepping down from Indian cricket captaincy, his father Sharad Dravid today said it was his son's own decision.

Reacting to the reports that Rahul Dravid was stepping down from Indian cricket captaincy, his father Sharad Dravid today said it was his son’s own decision.

“It is Rahul’s own decision,” he said.

Rahul has not discussed his plans with the family, senior Dravid said when they approached him for his reaction at his house in Bangalore.

He, however, declined to further comment on the issue.
