Referring to the NDA rally held on Saturday at Sonepat, CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the people of Haryana had proved that the INLD-BJP alliance had no mass base in the state.
Addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of a water works at Sampla in Rohtak, Hooda said that this alliance was for selfish gains and the people associated with this alliance did not have any interest in the development of the state. Sampla would soon be developed like Gurgaon and the proposal for construction of railway overbridge had also been sent for approval, he said. A sum of Rs 10.30 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of the water works and the construction work would finish by the month of June next year. With the construction of this water works, every resident of Sampla would get 135 litres of water per day, Hooda claimed.
He also laid the foundation stone of a community health centre, to be constructed at cost of Rs 514.5 lakh. He also paid tribute to Sir Chottu Ram at his memorial.
