Continuing buoyancy in the manufacturing sector has pushed industrial output growth in December ’04 to 7.9 per cent, compared with 7.4 per cent in the year-ago period, bearing out sustained economic upswing.
According to data relased by Central Stastical Organisaion (CSO) on Friday, year-on-year growth in industrial production during April-December this fiscal stood at a healthy 8.4 per cent, albiet marginally lower than 8.7 per cent growth recorded during April-November.
