India’s largest international travel event, World Travel India (WTI) will be organised from February 5 to 8, 2004 in Mumbai. WTI 2004 is being organised by UK’s Kinex Log along with Express Travel & Tourism, a business publication division of The Indian Express group as the strategic partner. Located at Mumbai’s fast developing business district at the Bandra Kurla exhibition complex, the event will include an international exhibition, cutting edge conference programme, business travel awards and a world-wide hosted buyers meet within a specially constructed fully air-conditioned luxury structure.
While announcing the event, Kinex Log managing director Dina Mac Donald said “the show targets exhibitors interested in the fast growing Indian travel market, both inbound and outbound.” Mac Donald added that “from an in-bound point of view, we are putting together a unique buyer programme to put sellers directly in touch with a guaranteed audience of top quality buyers through pre-arranged meetings.” The Indian Express Group will also be hosting the FE Business Traveller awards at WTI, which will be judged through a readership poll.
