After a good start on Tuesday, Indian archers slipped on the second day of the 42nd World Archery Outdoor Target Championships at New York with the men’s team falling back five places and women dropping by one position.The Indian men shot arrows over four distances and gathered 3899 points to be placed 13th. Korea retained the top slot with 4074 points. After the competitions over two distanceson Tuesday India were at appreciable 8th position. At the individual level 21st-rank holder Satyadev Prasad scored 1317 followed by 49th-rank Ved Kumar Acharya with 1294, 61st-rank Tarundeep Rai with 1288 and Limba Ram put up a poor show to be placed at 115th.
