NEW DELHI, November 30: India finished last in the six-nation second Asian Youth Netball Championship which was won by Sri Lanka at I G Stadium here today.

India suffered their fifth successive defeat as they lost to Hong Kong 41-45.

Sri Lanka beat Malaysia 50-39 to chalk out their fifth straight win in the round robin league and then trounced Singapore 51-30 in the final to lift the title.

Singapore who thrashed Maldives 66-26 finished runners-up with four wins.

Malaysia were third with three victories while Hong Kong earned fourth spot and Maldives were placed fifth.
