Protest against bus fare hike
Kolhapur: The Bharatiya Janata party workers held demonstrations here yesterday to protest against the bus fare hike introduced by the Kolhapur Municipal Transport (KMT).

The BJP workers, numbering 50, who attempted to block the KMT buses were detained by the police. All of them were later released.

Golden jubilee of Constitution

The celebrations which will start from December 6, the death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, will conclude on April 14, birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution. Various activities including seminars, workshops and rallies for proper implementation of various provisions of the Constitution, Kolhapur BSP unit chief Pradnyawant Gautam has said.
