City kids take part in UN meet
A team of eight children from the Capital represented India as its eco-ambassadors at the Children’s Conference on Environment in Nairobi on November 23. The conference was organised by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and attended by 600 delegates from 100 nations. The Indian team was selected from the nationwide Panchvati Green Movement.

New helpline for school children
Zee Education has launched a helpline for school children. This multi-model facility, which will be available on the Internet, phone and video, will provide counselling and training support to schools and individual children to help them cope with exam-related anxiety, confusion and nervousness.

DUSU meeting
The Delhi University Students Union held a meeting today to discuss ways to make up for the loss of classroom time during the DUTA strike. A majority of the members were in favour of extra classes during the winter vacation. No decision could be reached as members of the National Students Union of India opposed the move.
