Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan said on Friday that serious recommendation of various Law Commissions should be implemented at the earliest and laws should be drafted depending upon the needs of the people. Balakrishnan spoke after releasing a book on “Legislative Drafting: Shaping the Law for the New Millennium”, revised and updated by the law secretary T K Viswanathan. Law Minister H R Bhardwaj said that today, there is a need for legislation that can help us counter terrorism.
