VADODARA, Feb 10: The Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU proposes to organise a number of cultural activities to increase interaction between students undertaking it8217;s various courses.
Unlike students of other universities, who hold a number of cultural and education programmes, IGNOU students do not have any such programmes. When apprised of the proposal, one of the students Malay Vyas, who has enrolled his name for the management course, said cultural programmes or get-togethers would enable students to know each other.
He said students coming to attend various courses hardly knew each other because the university offered a large number of courses and students were also many as compared to other residential universities.
