The Investors’ Grievances Forum has demanded that the Sebi should initiate an inquiry against Xerox ModiCorp Ltd for its alleged violation of corporate governance code involving “improper payments to government officials in the year 2000 to promote business.” “The payment of bribe by a listed company amounts to corruption and market regulator should immediately initiate an enquiry against it,” IGF President, Kirit Somaiya said here today.
