I will stick to basics during the Windies tour: Sreesanth

How will S. Sreesanth tackle the West Indies? By sticking to the basics, he says. Talking to reporters here today, India’s new pace sensation said the Caribbean tour will be a “tough but good series. Even now they have talented cricketers. I understand the wickets have become a bit slow. But my aim would be to stick to the basics.”

Pointing out that Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara have always been his favourite cricketers, Sreesanth said: “West Indies have more left handed batsmen including Lara, and keeping this in mind I have been spending a lot of time at the MRF Pace Foundation bowling to left-handed batsmen now. I hope I can rise to the occasion.”
