A new-look Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of the one-day side, on Thursday said he had given his famed locks a ‘rest’.

Comfortable with his new look hair-style, Dhoni said he had sported long hairs for over three hours. “After all changes do happen,” he joked.

“I have sported long hair for three or three and a half years. And now I gave it a rest,” the swashbuckling cricketer said on his locks, which even drew compliments from Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

Sporting a jeans and a white shirt, Dhoni on Thursday obliged autograph hunters, as he was being felicitated by the Jharkhand government on India’s glorious win in the Twenty20 championship under his leadership.
