VADODARA, Nov 24: The heat and the hectic schedule failed to dampen the enthusiasm of the pace bowler of the Indian cricket team, Javagal Srinath, who was on a day's visit to the city. This was reflected during his visit to the Navrachana High School, when he not only took a round of the ground, but also bowled a few overs to the students to encourage the school cricket team and answered their queries.``The trip has been enjoying as it comprised less of visits to showrooms and fast food joints and included more interaction with students,'' he said. Though he could not please too many fans by giving them his autograph, he did manage to answer their queries satisfactorily. The queries of his inquisitive fans ranged from how he took up fast bowling to why he did not choose to become a spin bowler. To which, Srinath replied that he had ``enough strength'' to become a fast bowler.``I am sure the country has enough potential to include more fast bowlers as there are enough of them.'' Srinath said, adding that he enjoyed bowling the most to the Sri Lankan batsman Arvida D'Silva.According to Srinath, he enjoyed the company of children as it was easier to answer their queries, though he did regret that his visit to the M S University had to be cancelled. ``I missed the reactions of the young crowd of the city, but I guess handling them would have been difficult,'' he said.
