HYDERABAD, March 14: Hosts Hyderabad were in early trouble against a determined Vadodara at stumps on the second day Group C Ranji Trophy Super League Match at the Gymkhana Grounds here today.

Hyderabad began their innings on a disastrous note losing their openers Nandakishore (9) and Arvind Shetty (1). Debutant Timothy Ravi Kumar (29 batting) and Vanka Pratap (31 batting) avoided further embarrassment to the home side and held the innings together.

Earlier, Tushar Arothe (91) came up with a blistering knock and frustrated the home attack in the company of R A Swaroop. They added 60 runs for seventh wicket with arothe contributing 44.
