SOLAN, Sept 17: The state government has decided to open 630 senior secondary, high, middle and primary schools during the current financial year with a view to expanding the education facilities and raising the standard of education, especially in rural areas of the state.Ishwar Dass Dhiman, state Education Minister, this while addressing a large gathering after inaugurating a two-day ``Sair'' fair at Arki Yeasterday said that Rs 558 crore would also be spent on education during the current fiscal year.He appealed the public to extend full cooperation in curbing the tendency of copying among the student community as it was becoming menace in the education system. If this increasing tendency was not checked in time, it would affect the coming generation badly, he said.
