Hold dharnas outside Administrative Complex — Ropar DC

ROOPNAGAR, Nov 11: Roopnagar Deputy Commissioner Gurinder Singh Grewal has appealed to various political parties and employees’ organisations to organise their protest dharnas and rallies outside the District Administrative Complex here so that the working of government offices does not suffer due to these protests.

This appeal was made by him when the representatives of various political parties and employees’ organisations called upon him during the weekly “sangat darshan” organised at his office here today.

He asked the representatives of various political parties and employees’ organisations to hold protests as per the democratic provisions so that the government officials may not face any hardship in discharging their official duties. He said the protesters could hold their protests in the Army Camping Ground opposite the District Administrative Complex and could submit their memoranda to him at his office during the working hours – from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
