The loot’s been fairly well distributed in Madhya Pradesh. From the daughter of a former BJP state chief to relatives of party MPs to officials working in the Chief Minister’s security detail. Often the lines became more blurred because people have switched parties.


PART-XIII MADHYA PRADESH

1. Archana Pandey: LPG agency in Jaora in Ratlam. Her father, Laxmi Narayan Pandey, is BJP MP from Mandsaur and former state BJP chief. He says: ‘‘My daughter is handicapped, she is a post-graduate and unemployed. She fulfills all the criteria and appeared before the selection board. Her selection was part of the regular process, I didn’t put in a word.’’
2. Mayaram Angoria: LPG agency in Morena. He lives at the residence of Ashok Argal, BJP MP from Morena. Argal: ‘‘Mayaram was a truck driver, when I became an MP I asked him to drive for me. I thought, once I was no longer MP what would he do, so I asked him to apply. He no longer drives for me and he does not live in my house. I did not influence his case.’’

3. Saroj Singh Chouhan: LPG agency in Shahapur in Khandwa. Sister-in-law of BJP MP from Khandwa Nandkumar Singh Chauhan. Nandkumar Singh says: ‘‘My brother mantains a separate establishment. His wife has obtained this allotment from the woman’s quota, there’s no question of any political influence in this case.’’
4. Anita Raghuvanshi: LPG agency in Isagarh, Guna. Wife of Hari Singh Raghuvanshi, a company commander in CM Digvijay Singh’s security. She says: ‘‘My husband was in CM’s security till a month back, now he is an RTO. As for how the agency was allotted, you have to ask my husband, he has gone to his village for a few days.’’
5. Mukesh Singh Raghuvanshi: LPG agency in Mungaoli, Guna. Acquaintance of CM Digvijay Singh’s PA Rajendra Raghuvanshi. Rajendra says: ‘‘This allegation has surfaced before as well. I know Mukesh, he is from the same area but he has never approached me with a sifarish.’’
6. Devendra Kumar Verma: Pump in Narmada Nagar, Khandwa. Son of former BJP school education minister Kishorilal Verma. When contacted, his mother said: ‘‘There is no question of political influence. He was awarded this pump under the SC quota. At that time a senior IOC official from Vadodara had come down and checked that everything including the income requirement was in order.’’
7. Dharmendra Arya: LPG agency in Bilau, Gwalior. Nephew of former Congress MLA Kamlapat Arya (now with the BJP). Kamlapat says: ‘‘When the allotment was made I was with the BJP but I didn’t have to put in a word. He has been allotted this under the SC quota after an interview.’’
8. Saket Sharma: LPG agency in Biora, Rajgarh. Son of former BJP MLA Raghunandan Sharma. Saket, speaking from his father’s residence, says: ‘‘I live separately and was allotted the agency after appearing for an interview. There is no question of political influence.’’
9. Sangeeta Lodhi: LPG agency in Pichhore, Shivpuri. Daughter of former Congress MP, now with the BJP, Bhaiyya Sahib Lodhi.
10. Herendra Singh Chauhan: Pump in Maksudangarh, Guna. Son of former Congress MLA Mool Singh Chauhan who is a close associate of CM Digvijay Singh.
11. Giriraj Mandoli: LPG agency in Polaykalan, Shajapur. Former BJP MLA.
12. Gopal Parmar: LPG agency at Agar, Shajapur. Former BJP MLA.
13. Navprabha Paderiya: Pump at Picchore. Wife of Kamal Singh Paderiya, former MLA.
14. Rohit Somani: LPG agency at Harsud, Khandwa. BJP official in the district unit.
15. Triveni Devi Tiwari: LPG agency at Ichhawar, Sehore.
Wife of BJP leader Vishnu Dutt Tiwari who is a close associate of former BJP MLA Raghunandan Sharma.
