AHMEDABAD, April 21: A gujarat High Court division bench of Chief Justice K Sreedharan and Justice A R Dave has disposed of a petition on leaking drinking-water pipelines in Dhandhuka town after the Nagarpalika submitted that it was changing the old pipelines.

The petition, which arose from an application, had submitted that old leaking pipelines had resulted into gutter water mixing with the drinking-water. After the court issued notice, the Nagarpalika submitted that it had taken steps to change the pipelines.

It was submitted on behalf of the Nagarpalika that some pipelines had been already changed and remaining 1,000 metres-long was to be changed.
