CHANDIGARH, June 1: The Haryana government has decided to liberalise the existing Leave Travel Concession (LTC) policy for its employees on the pattern of Central government. According to a notification issued by the state chief secretary, the government employees may be sanctioned encashment of 10 days earned leave out of the total earned leave at his or her credit while availing of LTC. The facility will be available subject to the conditions that the total so encashed under this concession during the entire service career does not exceed 60 days in the aggregate, earned leave of atleast an equivalent duration is also availed of simultaneously by the employees concerned.A balance of atleast 30 days of earned leave is still available to the credit of the employees after taking into account the period of encashment as well as leave and the period of encashed will be deducted from the quantum of leave that can be normally encashed by him or her at the time of superannuation.
