AURANGABAD, June 10: The Higher Secondary Examinations results are out. And it is time for the toppers to celebrate their well-deserved success after a year of hard work.

Speaking at the press conference called by the HSC Board, the three girl toppers confidently answered the queries of the Press.

Yogeshwari Subhash Deshmukh, who topped the State among girls. She sought to take reporters to task for trying to cast aspersions on her success at the SSC examination two years ago, when she had topped the State. Yogeshwari said that by repeatedly pointing out that she was the daughter of a influential politician from Latur, the Press had completely ignored her hard work. She was determined to set the record straight by being one up on the reporters. However, knowing that it was after all her day, reporters avoided getting into any debate. Alaknanda Dhotre, who topped the merit list of the State among the backward class candidates with 96.83 per cent, does not attach too much significance to the merit list and believes that her talent will determine her appreciation by the world.

Rohini Arvind Rasal, from the renowned Rajarshee Shahu College of Latur, stood first in the Arts stream with 86.83 per cent. Rohini said that it is no easy task to climb to the top with a subject like music.
