Star Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is in talks with Surrey for a possible return to the English county for the second half of the next season. Club chairman David Stewart told a Members' Forum that the club was in talks with the Indian for a third stint with the club which Harbhajan represented in 2005 and 2007. The revelation came during Stewart's announcement that the county would plough significant investment into the game. Now that they have parted ways with Saqlain Mushtaq, who had aligned with the rebel Indian Cricket League, Surrey would hoping that BCCI would not thwart their bid to rope in the Indian.
