AHMEDABAD, Sept 30: Gujarat Vidyapeeth is starting a full-fledged centre of Hindustani learning. It will cater to doctoral level of studies.Chancellor Ramlal Parikh told reporters here on Wednesday that the centre' in collaboration with Hindustani Prachar Sabha, Mumbai, would be inaugurated by former prime minister Inder Kumar Gujral on Thursday. He said a centre for learning Urdu will also be started with the help of Maulana Azad Research Foundation. He said the centre would be the first of its kind in the country and would offer research facilities too. "Keeping Hindustani alive by retaining its Urdu-Hindi flavour is very essential for saving national integration and communal harmony," he said.
