CHANDIGARH, JULY 25: On the concluding day of the three-day Pinnacle Theatre Festival, which was organised by the Pinnacle Group and WWICS, a play Great India was staged at Tagore Theatre, here.

The play was divided in two parts, with the first part depicting the detereorating human values in the society. It highlighted corrupt politicians, how they play with the feelings of the public for their interests and gains, the employment system and so on.

A minister announces several schemes after he is informed of the death of a person named Hari Lal. But when it is revealed that Hari Lal is a donkey, not a man, the minister has an innocent man killed just so he is not forced to go back on his word.

The second part signified the strengths of a united India, showing how India has managed to emerge as a strong nation despite the detereorating values.

This part showed how an unemployed youth is forced to indulge in terrorism, smuggling and kidnapping but later kills the people responsible for forcing him to adopt this life.
