CHENNAI, July 8: Forty low budget films have been selected by the TN government for provision of subsidies totalling Rs 1.2 crore under a scheme initiated in 1995. Films which had taken a minimum of six prints and a maximum of 30 prints only could be eligible for this subsidy.

Congress fields 49 candidates, looking to contest 60-61 seats while RJD wants to give only 54-55. Seat-sharing talks stuck as Congress wants more "winnable seats" and RJD has not officially released its list.
