Dy Speaker reacts sharply to allegations made by Dabar
The Deputy Speaker of state assembly and a local MLA, Satpal Gosain on Sunday reacted sharply to the allegations levelled against him by his political rival and former Congress MLA Surinder Dabar, accusing the former neglecting his constituency
Rubbishing the charges levelled against him at a press conference, Gosain said that on the contrary it was the Congress leader who had not only neglected this constituency but had also misappropriated the funds. Gosain said that he had given a detailed report to the Chief Minister about the “misdeeds” of Dabar during his tenure and the CM had marked a vigilance inquiry into the matter.
“Now that inquiry is almost over and the Vigilance Bureau is about to register a case against Dabar,” added Gosain.
When contacted, former MLA Surinder Dabar said, “I had been invited by the people of MC ward number 41 and the people told me that two projects
which I had started during my tenure had been shelved. I had just said that these projects should not have been closed. I never levelled any allegation of corruption against Gosain. As far as allegation levelled against me by Gosain, I am ready to face any probe against me.”
