Defence Minister George Fernandes today hinted that the Admiral Gorshkov deal is likely to be clinched during Prime Minister Vajpayee’s visit to Moscow next month.
‘‘The price negotiations took a lot of time, but all negotiations and the paperwork…are on the verge of completion,’’ Fernandes said, after inaugurating the two-day commanders’ conference of the Coast Guards.
He added that price negotiations and other details were being worked out in order to time the final decision with the PM’s visit to Russia.
